Bristol's Iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge Trustees ask MSC to Audit CCTV system

The Clifton Suspension Bridge has a number of analogue cameras serving a number of purposes but which is nearing the end of their useful life. MSC was commissioned to assess the Operational Requirements of the CCTV for the bridge and to design a system that will enable operators using video analytics, to have brought to their attention incidents or unusual occurrences that could save lives.

Following the report to the trustees, the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust has appointed MSC to carry out the next phases of works following our audit report to improve the camera and recording systems on the bridge. Tender returns have been received for evaluation prior to awarding the contract to upgrade the system.

The Clifton Suspension Bridge, spanning the picturesque Avon Gorge, is the symbol of the city of Bristol. For almost 150 years this Grade I listed structure has attracted visitors from all over the world.
