Global MSC Security Raises £2,500 for Elizabeth’s Footprint
Security Professionals Support Campaign to Raise £1m for Bristol Children’s Hospital
Global MSC Security today announced that its Charity Gala Dinner has raised £2,500 for the Elizabeth’s Footprint, which aims to raise £1m for Bristol Children’s Hospital. The annual event took place on the eve of the Global MSC Security Conference and Exhibition on 13th November, at The Bristol Hotel, Bristol. The dinner was attended by 98 security professionals, working in the public and private sector.
Derek Maltby, MD of Global MSC Security says: “Each year we select a different charity to support and every year the security industry rises to the occasion and raises a substantial amount of money for a very worthy cause.” He adds: “We hoped to raise £2000 for Elizabeth’s Footprint, so to have surpassed our target is a fantastic achievement and I would like to thank everyone who donated.”
Elizabeth’s Footprint supports the Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children’s Hospital Charity which provides cutting edge, life-saving equipment, family accommodation and arts, music and play therapy for patients and their families at Bristol Children’s Hospital. The Global MSC Security dinner had the generous support of the creators of Wallace & Gromit - Bristol-based Aardman Animations - with Nick Park donating prizes for auction.
