Derek Maltby founded founded MSC Security Consultancy (now Global MSC Security – “MSC”) in 1999 having retired from the Avon & Somerset Constabulary in 1990 when he went to work in the private security sector and was responsible for developing the growing reliance on CCTV systems for the Broadmead Shopping Centre and ‘High Street’ area in the centre of Bristol, providing advice and guidance in all aspects of manned and electronic security;

Having successfully run a large independent security systems integrator, Andy Williams joined Global MSC early in 2023. Andy has extensive experience in the electronic security industry having been responsible for many high security projects across several sectors since the 1990’s

 The company focuses on the feasibility studies, audits, assessment, procurement and installation of CCTV systems. MSC specialises in Public Space Surveillance (PSS) CCTV or Video Surveillance Services (VSS) but also offers a full range of services and guidance in procurement in access control, intruder, VSS and all aspects of electronic security.
